Black kitten in tree; dogs screambark. Film at 11.
 There was a poor black kitten in our Bradford pear tree just a little while ago. I heard our dogs going apeshit in the back yard, so I went out to see why they were screambarking. In the pear tree, I saw a black kitten with yellow eyes, hanging to the branch and wondering why those blasted dogs were yelling at it. :P We got the dogs back inside and got a ladder, and when hubby started to reach for it, it took off into our yard and slid under the fence and ran away.

This is the same cat that taunts and tortures our dogs on a daily basis. I believe a cat in the neighborhood behind us had kittens, and the kittens wander around that neighborhood and sort of wander into ours periodically. I don't think the black kitty will bother our dogs again anytime soon.

1. Black kitty needs to take some lessons from Sylvester.
 He has all the dogs in the neighborhood terrified.

But I'm SURE he would be nice to YOUR dogs. :D (Oh, yeah -- they'd have to feed him if they wanted to make friends with him. :P)

:hi:

3. Oh, I'm sure...
 My dogs think they're tough stuff around cats, but the cats would win every time. :P

2. My black kitty would have beat the shit out of your dogs.
Don't you have little dogs? They'd be doubly screwed.

4. Actually, they're reasonably big dogs...
One's a 75-lb. Lab/Doberman mix, and the other's a 48-lb. bird dog/pointer/Jack Russell mix. And they act so tough around cats, but in reality, they're Extreme Wussy Dogs---and cats know it. Your black kitty would beat them so bad.... :hi:

5. Okay, I thought you had westies for some reason.
But yeah, Midnight had no problem with our 95lb German Shepherd & the pit bull I fostered. Her favorite activity currently is trapping the black lab we have on weekends in various closets.

7. She has a red folder at the vet. That's what they use for animals they
deem "potentially dangerous." Our German Shepherd was "red folder" as well, but she was only aggressive to people & animals she didn't know. A total mush with the family though.
