If my current writing project doesn't work, I'm blaming the pets...
... and Mr. Writer.

I am in my office now, the doors closed, with my "set up": my laptop to my left, and my desktop before me. By God, if my cat walks by the french doors one more time, meowing his head off, I am going to flay him. My dog is fine, that is, until he gets bored and starts chasing the cat. And when Mr. Writer returns home he has little ways - sometimes big ways - of distracting me from the task at hand.

:argh:

So now I have a vision: a little writing hut in a field or a cluster of trees away from civilization. There NOTHING can bother me. Yet I wonder then - would that make me crazy? Maybe I should chuck my computer and use a standard typewriter. Would that make me like the Unibomber? Hrmmm...

1. Ah yes
I usually blame the man and/or the furry creatures (sometimes one in the same) for all of life's shit/distractions/obstacles whathaveyou.

Good luck on your writing in any event.

7. Would this be considered another distraction?
I mean all this effort over a writer's hut when the actual writing isn't getting done... It's a vicious circle, no?
