He's in NYC today to speak to the UN, so the police and secret service have got the entire corridor from his hotel to the UN barricaded and they're threatening to arrest anyone who crosses the street for at least the next hour. The barricades have already been up over an hour.
I just walked 10 blocks out of my way to go around his damn hotel and get to the other side of the barricade so I could go one block to get to work. :grr:
I'm using the cane today instead of the crutches so I wasn't ready for that kind of walking, and I'm now in a lot of pain. :grr:
They never shut things down this much for Clinton. They would let people cross the street up until he left his hotel. They didn't shut down entire stretches of Manhattan for 2 hours at a time just because his royal majesty was sitting in a hotel someplace nearby. x(

1. Didn't I read somewhere that his feet can't touch the ground? |
|
So I guess they need space for his flying carpet or whatever. LOL.

It seems like he spends way too much time here in Ohio and it's always a pain in the ass when he comes to Columbus.

3. **They never shut things down this much for Clinton. ** |

That's because he was completely HATED the way Bush is.
And Clinton wasn't a complete paranoid nut case the way Bush is, either.
