DU Parents! JUST In Time For Xmas - EXTREME Tickle Me Elmo REVEALED!
better get in line RIGHT NOW if you want this under your kid's tree! :eyes:

<snip>

EAST AURORA, N.Y. -- There's still more than three months until Christmas, but the toy that could be among the most popular for the pre-school set is already being unveiled.

Elmo is back and he's as ticklish as ever. And grown-ups who went reaching for the aspirin after listening to the first one had better get ready.

The new, improved Tickle Me Elmo is dubbed T.M.X. Elmo, with the "X" standing for extreme. This Elmo slaps his knee, falls to the floor, rolls over and pounds his arm while laughing.

Fisher-Price, owned by Mattel, unveiled the new Elmo toy to TV Tuesday, ending months of unprecedented secrecy that's had the toy industry abuzz.

Until Tuesday morning, only about 50 people had seen the new Elmo, and the Fisher-Price Web site pictured T.M.X. Elmo only in shadow.

The debut of T.M.X. Elmo came 10 years after the first Tickle Me Elmo was the must-have toy of Christmas, prompting some parents to engage in tugs of war in toy stores.

The new Elmo, which retails for $40, is also expected to be a hot seller. Already, customers were lining up at stores -- deja-vu for those who remember 10 years ago, when the first Tickle Me Elmo debuted.

Executives at KB Toys and Toys R Us said preorders for the toy have exceeded expectations.

8. Bad times...bad times...
Wow! This story took me back to a lost opportunity.

About 10 years ago, I was home from my first year of college over Christmas break. One of my buddies and I found ourselves stoned out of our minds at the local WalMart at like 2 in the morning looking to get something to eat.

What surprised us was that there was a fairly sizable crowd at the WalMart that evening. Eventually, my friend (who was also just back from his first semester of college) asked a few of the people what they were standing around for. We were told that there was a brand-new shipment of Tickle-Me-Elmos arriving at approximately 2:30AM.

Neither of us had any idea what they were talking about, so we got our munchies and went on our merry way.

The next morning, I asked my parents what a Tickle-Me-Elmo was and ended up relaying the story. And then proceeded to spend the rest of my break crestfallen that I had missed the chance to pick up a $20 toy that was selling on the black markets of the classifieds for close to a grand...

9. phht. They call that extreme? My Tickle-Me-Elmo design
had him doing all that, foaming at the mouth, scratching his own eyes out, begging for someone to please kill him, and vomiting blood.

Stupid Mattel...they couldn't appreciate my visionary design, and now they mock me with this!!

12. They rejected my idea, too: "Don't F**k with me Elmo"
Complete with extensive rap sheet, a broken bottle neck, and memorable catch phrases such as, "Elmo knows where you live!"

he's a funny little f**ker

I laugh all the time at jokes and stuff on Sesame Street.

"IT IS JUST A ROCK!!!" <---- Elmo's running gag with Rosita

Seriously it is funnier than you think.

BTW- the Wiggles are boring.
