I need a job. I just applied for one with the campus IT services, which, out of the seven or so applications I have out, would be my preferred choice. So far, none of the other potential employers have contacted me (:(), but this one provided some specific contact information, so I fired off an e-mail to the lady right after I submitted the application (people here seems to respond better to e-mail than to phone calls).

So will me to get a job, because I need one...rather fucking urgently. Thanks. :)

Remember, persistence pays when looking for employment. Even though things have changed since the century I went to college in, you might try following-up...even a couple of times. When I hired students at the Library I worked at, I tended to notice those who really seemed to need work...those who would stop by and check to see if we were hiring.

Hang in there! I know times are tough. Especially with the current administration slashing student funding and low interest loans.
