How long is too long to keep Guacamole dip?

We made too much for our cookout on Sunday. I've had some in the fridge for 3 days now. Is it still safe to eat?

10. aside from no longer being hungry

you should be fine. It generally keeps in the fridge about 5 days. Just make sure you cover it with plastic wrap so it doesn't turn brown.

my best measuring stick on all things bad/nasty, is my nose...if it smells okay, take a little taste, and if it tastes okay, than I think its good to go.

13. One thing I've found

and I've no idea why this is the case. But guacamole seems to keep better if the avocado stone is placed in it when storing it.

15. it's a myth and I actually tried a controled experiment - no dif.

what does help is some more lemon or lime juice on the surface and then pressing plastic wrap on to the guac to eliminate any air.
