Poll question: Don't ______ & Drive

No, this isn't one of Allen's Match Game posts (where IS Allen, anyway?) though you are welcome to treat it as one. Every time I'm eating while driving (which is much, much, much too often) and especially if I see a cop, I feel, well, a bunch of things-- nervous, guilty, dumb, to name a few. So here's a few things we do while driving that we shouldn't. I'm wild-guessing that All of the Above will run away with the thing, but the individual items are there for you to vote for if one of them is a particular pet peeve. In a reply, I'd appreciate it if you would say whether you think there should be a law against doing any of these while driving (I mean, the ones that aren't already illegal) and if so which ones.

"Spit" added because of some zeeb in front of me in a drivethrough line who felt the need to spit every 20 seconds out the rear passenger window. Can I just say Ewwwwwwww?

As to #7: I can say that; I'm over 40.:P

And, don't get freaky stoned and then go drive somewhere. And no, this is NOT a statement against smoking pot. Just saying that when I used to smoke it, it messed with my ability to drive, and I think it is the same with others.

12. True Story

My uncle worked for the Tarrant County Coroner's office. There was a multiple fatality, head-on collision on a highway in Fort Worth. He retrieved the bodies and transported them to the office.

The next day, a doctor asked my uncle if he had found at the scene the man's . . . um . . . organ. My uncle repled, "No." The doctor then stated emphatically that it is not anywhere to be found and that he does not have it.

My uncle (a retired police officer) thought for a moment and asked, "Did you look in her mouth?"

No, the doctor had not looked. He then did look and, yes, it was there.

A word to the wise is sufficient.
