and here I sit at my desk. I cracked my window open just enough to hear the sound, and it is marvelous! I have before me my work, my computer, and the softening sounds of nature behind me.

My office, facing the mountains, is my sanctuary. Moments like these humble me.

although we've received voluminous rain here in CO for the last two months, as well as our share of lightening. All is well. :hi:

3. Good that you've been lucky. I unplug EVERYTHING when the

lightning gets close, except for the wireless router. I can work (or hang out on DU) using a laptop, knowing that I'll only fry a $89 router and a $79 DSL modem if a strike comes too close.
