This woman is funny...and beautiful

Jaime Pressly, the one who plays Joy on "My Name Is Earl". I don't know who writes her "Jerry Springer" type one-liners but they're hilarious. Last night she told a woman who was cheating in pool that she was going to pop her fake boobs and make her fly around the bar like a helium balloon with the air let out.

3. She plays a sterotypical character,
but does it well and brings something fresh to it, which is why she's such a great actor.

And, if I must say, her tush is very nice.

4. Call me biased but...
...if the show has a long run and the writers keep her as a bitch (I don't think she's funny when she's being nice) she'll be right up there with Edith Bunker (Jean Stapleton) from "All In The Family" and Elaine Bennis (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) from "Seinfeld" as far as being an important part of the show and one of the reasons people tune in.

To be totally honest, I haven't seen anything else she's done. None of her previous movies or TV shows.

5. I agree -- and this part is made for her
I haven't been impressed with anything else she's done. But she is EXCELLENT on "Earl."

6. "Earl" does remind me of "Seinfeld"
The same way I never thought Jerry was all that great and the supporting cast actually made the show. To me if it wasn't for Joy, Randy, Darnell "Crabman" I don't think the show would have survived the first season
