4. easiest thing to clean walls with
is Murphy's Oil Soap. If they are painted just dilute it a lot. I too suffer from the wall cleaning affliction.

5. well diluted spic and span...
for general cleaning, baking soda and water for spot cleaning. Ain't nothing like clean walls!

use the Magic Eraser thing... works great!
