I'm house-sitting an extremely eccentric cat this weekend...

...in a woodsy suburban house in Orange, CT...a lovely location, with lots of woodchucks and deer and wild turkeys and pilated woodpeckers...and one very ornery gray cat named Lucy. She's 12, and set in her ways...but we get along, so I was "elected"--ie, practically waterboarded--into being her official keeper. She's tolerating me so far--barely...but figure she'll have me well-trained by Monday...what aye ya gonna do...?
