1. A hand carved Victorian sideboard?
While you woke with it, I was hoping to get my hands on one

2. They're surprisingly common...
I imagine if you look around a bit you'll find one - perhaps not Victorian, but functional nonetheless. ;)

3. I guess that, as much as I enjoy the one piece,
I really require the entire set. That's a lot harder to locate, especially if you're looking for the perfect one :)

5. You're right - it's a lot tougher when you have standards...
I understand some people go to furniture consultants for professional service...

7. I suppose.
That's not my way. In the real world, I am too often approached with offers of the sideboard alone. One of these times it will be accompanied by some quality accessories. In the meantime, I'll have to do without!

10. Saw a sign tonight that said "Fire Wood"
My daughter noticed it first and commented that was a horrible thing to put on a sign outside of a business. She was apalled. "What's so bad about selling fire wood?" I asked. "Why is that upsetting to you?" She sat there a moment, digested what I said, and then burst out laughing. "I thought they had just fired some guy named 'Wood'!"

12. The girls got skills
I shudder to think how she will interpret things when she becomes a teenager. This is the same kid who asked me a few years back if she could have everything in my wallet after I died.

I don't feel the need to sleep with one eye open.
