Love is gone, again.

Unexpectedly again. Suddenly, again. After much greatness, wonder, laughter and joy, again.

What is "home," now? Everywhere reminders of love, gone. Again.

I'm just enveloped in loss. Surprise loss, the worst kind.

I have no idea what's next. Tomorrow is a mystery, an uncertainty I can't avoid.

Dreams have left. It's amazing how quickly. I try to turn it all into anger, spite. But love won't let me. Even in the decision, suddenly, to leave, still I want happiness for her. I'm supportive, even in the face of my own profound sadness.

Fuck her! Nope. I'm not that. I'm just too caring. I fear for where she goes now, I fear she'll collapse. It's not vanity that makes me feel I've been the rock she could build on, I truly fear for her without me, someone like me -- maybe vanity makes me feel there is no one else like me for her.

Fighting off the wave of loss. Fighting off the fear she'll slip back. Is there a fight I can even wage to keep it from ending? A stubborn child, she says no. It ends. And I'm wholly, profoundly alone. Again.

I won't sleep without wine. I won't sleep anyhow, but I'll drink wine. Tomorrow I'll be masking hurt with hurt, nursing a hangover.

I rose again once, learned love because of her. This time? :(
