I saw Mel Gibson last night - in a bar!

That's right... I was out at my regular bar (which is not very big at all) here in Austin, TX, and when the lights came on at 2-something, and we started heading for the door, my friend is like, "Hey, look, there's Mel Gibson." So my other friend and I look over, and, lo and behold, there he is, standing by the pool table, talking to some people. Wow. It was pretty exciting. My best friend's dad said Mel was probably out last night because he knew all the Jews wouldn't be (what with it being Rosh Hashannah and all). I didn't notice if he was drinking or not (I assume he's not supposed to be as a condition of his ongoing legal stuff).
