9. Funny, I just treated myself to nine 70s/80s Greatest Hits CD's today

and some of these artists including Earth wind and Fire and Commodores. I had to go with Brick House, but I could add several more to that list just from the 9 artists I have in my stack here.

18. Ironically, the song that inspired it isn't on here

Last week, I heard "Sweet Sticky Thing" by the Ohio Players, and was trying to think of how to get it on a poll. Unfortunately, they only had about 5 songs that I could remember (not counting "Funky Worm," which I'm trying desperately to forget), and I have a childish aversion to doing polls with less than 10 choices. So this one was born instead, but obviously "Sweet Sticky Thing," while certainly wonderful, scarcely qualifies. Hmmmm, maybe a 70s sweet soul music poll? You'd probably do a better job doing such a poll than me, of course.
