3. Other?
Due to my half-Jewish heritage, my hair is very stereotypical; Half coarse and curly, half fine and stick-straight. It's very much integrated though and lives happily side by side, so I guess there's that...

It's currently in a bun at the back of my neck where I put it when I got out of the shower. It's probably going to look like Bella Abzug when I take it down. :D

10. Other: Naturally wavy light golden brown hair with a tendency
toward coarse texture. Medium length. I've got respect, so I could wear it long, short, medium, whatever.. :P It's currently shoulder length, and I think I may let it grow another two to three inches. :D

We're still walking on eggshells down here, trying to get this house sold so we can join you in the Frozen North. Keep those fingers crossed, would you?

44. I think that gray streaks are cool
I've got a tiny one to the left of center...but my hair's light enough that it doesn't show...and the rest of the gray makes it blend, too.

So...I just try and get rid of all of it. Problem is, the gray is coarser and color doesn't do anything about that.

I don't know what I look like! (as David Byrne would sing).

Seriously, I haven't gotten a haircut since May, so it's beginning to get a little shaggy (so I guess that would be medium length?) I've had hairstyles ranging from near-bald to near-Mullet.

38. My hair is rather short, but.......
I am currently growing it out.......

I have decided that a bit longer might just look good on me!

Maybe just below my ears......

It's silky, fine and silvery-gray.......I love it!

Plus I'm lucky enough to have a tiny bit of a wave in it.......

Though that will most likely disappear as it gets longer and heavier....

40. Very thick, very curly when it gets long.

Like the guy on the right, but brown.. I did actually let it get like that in high school. Then I developed a crush on this girl and she said she would date me if I cut my hair. To this day I just shave my head with a #4. (1/2")

And yes, I did shave my afro for a girl.

Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 01:12 AM by idgiehkt
very fine and really soft...I have to bleach it blonde for it to have any body/ then it's like a completely different head of hair. Don't much like doing that because I get weirded out by all the male attention; blonde is a total dick magnet, so to speak, but I even had a hairdresser tell me that, cause I don't mess with it much, that the only hope for it is damage. It does have a nice hue and in pictures it looks freakishly shiny sometimes. But I pretty much hate dealing with it when it's not bleached. I suppose the best thing I could do would be pay to have it bleached out and then re-color it a dark brown; that would be like a triple process though and that would probably make it fall out, lol.

50. Longish, thick, and pretty unmanageable
I used to have hair past my shoulders, and I decided to grow it out again from a short haircut I got nine months ago. Anyone who's grown their hair out from a short haircut knows about the "awkward stage", and that's definitely what I'm taking part in at the moment. It's a little better than it was a couple months ago, though. It's soft and thick which I like, but it has an uneven wave to it (parted down the middle, the two sides will do totally different things!) that makes it look like I didn't comb it even if I spent ten minutes trying to calm it down! I dunno, though... I just feel like long hair is "me" and since my current job doesn't care about hair length on guys, I figured that now was a good time to give it another shot.
