(UIP) Hussein Alleges Blackmail - Asks For Summary Judgement and Dismissal of Human Rights Violations
In a stunning development, Saddam Hussein's lawyer today declared that Hussein was paid $750,000 by the US government as hush money while simultaneously being threatened with capture and trial if he didn't agree to lay low until after the 2004 election.
"Mr Hussein had no intention of launching any of his imaginary WMDS, nor did he plan to imaginarily sell them to terrorists," said Roy Black, Hussein's lawyer. "There's no one in the world being persecuted more than Mr Hussein," he added, "I challenge you to point out another world leader who has had his country invaded, his sons killed, his property seized and his microphone silenced as has Mr Hussein. The only other person on the planet who has suffered as much as Mr Hussein is my other client, Rush Limbaugh."
Mr Black contends that his client was suffering from years of headaches brought on by constant US and British bombing and was, in fact, on many of the same medications as was his client, Mr Limbaugh. "the fact that Mr Hussein had so much in common with a great, upstanding and honest American as Rush Limbaugh and that he is facing similar persecution only shows you how far an out-of-control government will go when the public has tired of stories of real criminals...like Michael Jackson."
