My tiel is going away for Xmas!!!!!

:cry: My Murphee is going to the vet's to be boarded for about a week, over the Xmas holiday. :) First time.

I've packed all her stuff and treats, but it's hard. :hug: I hope it's a positive experience for her. :evilgrin:

We get a petsitter for our birds (the vet doesn't board birds anymore).

9. I left my pets for 2 weeks for the first time in 11 years last month

I got a distressing report on how 2 of them were doing the first week. Boober was depressed and listless and wouldn't play - Mufasa (kitty) was walking through the house wailing. Socks (kitty) owns the place and doesn't give a shit who is here.

Boober was back to normal as soon as he knocked me over coming in the door. Mufasa punished me for a couple days but he was back to his neurotic self after that. Socks is still a pain in the ass.

10. To the parents for xmas dinner, etc...

Baylee the Bunny is okay with food and water for a few days, but the Murphster is going to the vet's.

They specialize in birdie care so I'm not too worried about her health or safety, but since she is my little baby, I worry about how she will take things. ;)

I'm quite the worrier. :(
