3. Kin you say "global warming"? |
|
Sure you can... That's right!
Article in Scientific American this month showed the difficulties the great tit (in the Netherlands) are having with their primary food source now peaking 2 weeks ahead of their egg-laying schedule.

4. I left Tulsa about 1:00 pm |

Today and the temp was about 64. I watched the outside air temp. display in the car on the way down here to Oklahoma City and it dropped 12 degrees along the way. I talked to my wife on the phone a while ago and she said there was a thunderstorm. It is just cold and windy here in OKC.

6. Karl, hope you are not having to fly in that crap! |

I just told a neighbor today that I did not miss TSTMS and CAT-3A approaches in heavy snow (RVR 700). Man, I hated that CAT-3 autoland in both the B-737 and the MD-80. Actually, the MD-80's autoflight system was better than the B-737.

7. LOL, just got back from a quickie to STL, no wx to speak of. |

I have never done a cat3 approach (and damn few with even altitude coupling :D) Our old MU-2 had the boxes in it but they were broke & I never could get the old man to pay to fix 'em. So I just kinda chase the damn needles down to someplace where I can see some lights. haha...
