108. Ha, that's funny!
I had a summer job in a sewing factory and would daydream about my estate with panthers and lots of handsome men to entertain me. When I told the guy I was dating about that he got real upset and told me he had a crush on Karen Valentine. I said, she's not so hot and I could never be jealous of her which made him even more upset.

21. An old Delta captain friend of the family owned 77 Sunset Strip.
He was one of the first Delta pilots. Retired in 1966 at age 60. 77-Sunset Strip was in his real-estate portfolio until he cashed-out in the late 1960s (the early Delta pilots had no retirement .. full circle, eh?).

154. Doesn't she has the most incredible eyes?
From wiki's biography of her:

Meeting with MLK:
However, it was in Star Trek that Nichols gained popularity by being the first African American woman to be featured in a major television series. During the first year of the series, Nichols was tempted to leave the show as she felt her role lacked significance, but a conversation with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. changed her mind. Dr. King personally encouraged her to stay on the show, telling her that he was a big fan of the series and told her she "could not give up"... for she was playing a vital role model for young black children and women across the country. After the first season, Uhura's role on the series was expanded beyond just manning the communications console.

The Kiss:
In her role as Lt. Uhura, she participated in the first interracial kiss on U.S. television, with Canadian actor William Shatner (as Captain James T. Kirk) in the 1968 Star Trek episode "Plato's Stepchildren". The scene provoked protest and was seen as groundbreaking, even though the kiss was portrayed as having been forced by alien mind control. The episode was not telecast in some Southern cities as a result of the protests in those states; nevertheless, it caused many viewers to contact the broadcaster and the majority of the feedback of the incident was positive. It was over twenty-five years before it was broadcast on British television.

Oh yes, it's Dr. Helena Russell, MD. from Space:1999 (1975-1977).

She played opposite Martin Landau's character of Commander John Koenig, leader of Moonbase Alpha.

But she didn't like him.

Oh, no..... she liked ME. I knew that underneath that cool, polished exterior, professional, rational mind beat the heart of a TIGER....... *ahem*.....

So, that's my contribution.

Thank You for your consideration.

43. Indeed, and a tail dragger
Mac, I met a busted up pilot (bum ticker} who flew one of the two T-50's to Apple Valley from LA basin. They had a one day ticket from the FAA, or some sort of restricted license. Spent the day filming air shots to stick in the can. At Apple Valley, one was parked on the tarmac for airport/ranch ground shots, the other was chopped up for the studio work. The original Songbird had more appeal to me, too.

Round motors mean radial engines?

I was at a non-Monkees concert(Buffalo Springfield, I think) with a friend, and the MC mentioned that Peter Tork was in the audience. That's all we needed to hear. We jumped up and searched the theatre until we found him standing against the back wall with his girlfriend watching the performance. Like the little teeny-bopper I was, I literally stood at his feet just staring up at him. He didn't say a word, but his girlfriend asked me if I had a seat. LOL. I remember it as though it was yesterday.

I remember the emu, and the kid TV executive who always offered them something to eat ("No thanks...we're trying to cut down). I also remember they had a really good song that they played on the show called "Rendezvous".

Wow...great memories.

Do you know what Brett's doing now? I think that Bill Hudson was married to Goldie Hawn for awhile (pre-Kurt Russel) and Mark Hudson was working with Ringo Starr (although I heard somewhere that they had a falling out).

My aunt has multiple sclerosis now, but she's a veteran who taught me from an early age that you do not wear the flag as an article of clothing. It's just plain disrespectful if nothing else. It burns me up too. Of all the things people do to it, to wear it as a sign of "patriotism" just smacks of hypocrisy to me. Patriotism, my ass. It proves otherwise.

send her to Europe to stay with relatives for extended periods over the summer. She'd always manage to spend a couple of days in London camping out at the foot of George's driveway. She met him a couple of times and Ringo as well. Amazingly enough, she won't even talk about it now. Says it's all in the past, so why bother. Paul was my favorite, and if I had been lucky enough to meet him back then, I'd still be talking about it.
