So you think you know movies ?
List two or three good movies that have NO, repeat, NO love story angle. Does that leave anything but war & horror films.

To start,

Run Silent, Run Deep

Arsenic and Old Lace

A League Of Their Own.

15. Also A League of Their Own insinuates possible
interest between Geena Davis and Tom Hanks characters.

I don't think the many attempts to sodomize Andy Dufresne count.

Maybe Bridge on the River Kwai, though William Holden has a brief scene with a British nurse, and Alec Guinness sure did love that goddamn bridge.

Lawrence of Arabia arguably has homosexual overtones, but perhaps that shouldn't count either (as it isn't overt), though he sure did love that goddamn desert.

8. My choices
"Yellow Submarine" (even though "Love" is featured heavily)
"Das Boot"
"Monty Python's Holy Grail"

I'd add "History of the World Part I" and "Blazing Saddles" but there's some "love interest" in both.

...Does that count? Being that Reese is dead and all....

Well...In lieu of Terminator 2, allow me to offer up "Bubba Ho'tep"

Which is still making it's theater run. Very B movie, but really great, Check it out if you get the chance, plays mostly in indie theaters.

14. Give 'em Hell, Harry,
James Whitmore's one-man show about Harry S. Truman, which was made into a movie in the seventies,

Sleuth, with Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine (only two actors in the film),

The Great Train Robbery, directed by Edwin S. Porter for the Edison Company,

Fred Ott's Sneeze, produced by Thomas Edison in 1893,

Execution of Czolgosz with Panorama of Auburn Prison, Edison Company, 1901.

Sounds like this Edison fellow didn't have any romance in his heart...

30. The Terminator Movies? Bzzzz! Incorrect!!!
In the first movie, Linda Hamilton's tryst with Michael Biehn is the reason why John Connor is born. Remember, he volunteered for the mission because he fell in love with the picture of John's mother. He says in the movie "I love you Sarah. I've always loved you."

So, i'm sorry, you lose this round!

21. I thought you said this wasn't a kissing book
I "hate" it when an otherwise good movie has a kissing scence, like in The Princess Bride. I know that is a love story, but it seems like often the "love interest" is thrown in just for the chicks.

But to answer your question, how about "A few good men." It seems there is a noticable lack of love interest between the two stars.
