I slept through another earthquake.

This one was 3.6. I know it's a baby one, but still it is very rare for my my hometown to feel it. I know South Carolina has them quite often although usually mild. I do have a question for anyone who has experience with earthquakes though. Do a couple of small ones usually mean a big one is coming?

A big one often means one or more small ones (aftershocks) are coming, though.

Every minor quake releases seismic pressure, so they're good things.

(Every quake, period, releases pressure. But when one fucks up the area and the World Series, you don't go "Whew! Less pressure!")

I can't believe I slept through both of the 2 these past few days. Other people I know in this area felt them and heard a boom right before it happened. I'd be interested in knowing where the techtonic plates are in NC and SC. I'm not sure how to find that out though.
