How do you let a website through a firewall?
I know nothing about computers, well nothing about technical aspects. So today I wanted to view a website and it said:
Error. You cannot access this website because your firewall is blocking it. Please turn off your firewall.
I don't even know what firewall my home computer uses. But I ask all of you--what can I do to turn the firewall off???
Thanks for your help!
:hi:

I think if you go to Control Panel you'll see a setting for Windows Firewall.
There should be a tab called exceptions. You should be able to add a new exception.
Or you can just turn it off altogether while you're hitting that site.
This is assuming you don't have some 3rd party firewall going.
