1. I prefer the B-side of that one...
I like the sparser, more experimental, less formally structured instumentals (sort of proto-ambient electronica; there's a lot more of Eno's influence there). I can't really decide on my favourite track; it's a three-way tie between "Moss Garden", "Neukoln" and "Abdulmajid".

2. Another Vote for B Side
Neukoln is my favorite track if I have to pick one.

6. eno and bowie
(mostly eno) created (or coopted) this resource to aid in most of the production of "Low," "Heroes," and "Lodger."

3. I enjoy both sides, but like the poppier songs of both it and "Low"
a bit more than I like the more ambient, pensive cuts.

I relate a lot of those songs to a particularly happy romance, so that might have something to do with my preference.

Still, great sides, both of them, on that Heroes.

5. "Low" is a perfect album
yes. a departure, a complete reversal of the mainstream top 40 success of "Young Americans" and the cocaine addled "StationtoStation" (another masterpiece - had the supreme pleasure of watching DB less than 10 feet from me perform "Stay" and "StationtoStation" on stage).

this is my favorite track (hard to choose) from "Low."

Always Crashing in the Same Car

Every chance, every chance that I take
I take it on the road
Those kilometers and the red lights
I was always looking left and right
Oh, but I'm always crashing in the same car

Jasmine, I saw you peeping
As I pushed my foot down to the floor
I was going round and round the hotel garage
Must have been touching close to 94
Oh, but I'm always crashing in the same car
