Boy band dweeb Aaron Carter ends engagement to Playboy model
The sad news from the "What Would Tyler Durden Do" Web Site:

AARON CARTER IS SINGLE

Us Weekly says that Aaron Carter has ended his engagement to gf Kari Ann Peniche just one week after proposing onstage at the Playboy Comedy Tour at the Palms Casino Resort. Carter says:

"I got caught up in the moment and proposed. I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet."

A source close to Carter says:

"They are just going to be friends now. She still wants to keep dating him but Aaron is not quite sure. He was trying to appease her but came to his senses and realized it was the wrong thing to do."

I don’t even know how stuff like this happens. I’m guessing alcohol and magic. It has to dawn on her at some point that she’s a Miss Teen USA Playboy model and he looks a damn scarecrow.

Nick Carter 'Cried In Bed For Days' After Abuse Allegations
Date: Wednesday, September 29 @ 01:11:38 CDT
Topic: News

In an interview for 'Access Hollywood' airing tonight, Jane Carter tells Daphne Barak that her son Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys cried in bed for days after accusations surfaced that he beat then girlfriend Paris Hilton black and blue. "I don't believe for a second that he would ever hurt Paris," Jane said. "To be quite honest, I think they had a very passionate relationship." She even hinted that the sexpot hotel heiress might have staged the bruises. "I can't imagine those were real," she said. "I think she can afford the best makeup artist in the world."

Backstreet's Carter wailed throughout arrest

Even the cops chuckled as the singer sobbed

January 8, 2002 | They don't call 'em Backstreet Boys for nothing.

When the group's youngest member, Nick Carter, 21, got arrested during an argument at a Florida club last week, after failing to leave the club on a cop's count of 10, he apparently melted down in a big way.

"The cops arrested him, put him in handcuffs, and then put him in the police car," a witness, Jennifer Guggino, also 21, told The Smoking Gun last week. "Nick wasn't belligerent, but he started bawling. He said, 'You just want to arrest a Backstreet Boy. I've never been arrested. I don't know what to do!' He was crying hard. Tears were streaming down his face. People were laughing at him. The cops were chuckling."

But before you start pointing and yucking it up yourself at Carter's waterworks display, pause and ponder this: Guggino said that when she sidled up to Carter and asked him why he'd publicly turned into a puddle, he replied, "It's OK to cry."

Awwwwww ... I mean, just ... awwwww ....

4. It's like a real-live version of that Vonage commercial...
Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 02:25 AM by Kutjara
...where the dweeby guy breaks up with his Ferrari-driving uberhot girlfriend because she did something to him in bed that he 'didn't like.' The tagline is, "Vonage, a good decision among a lifetime of bad ones." Yes, Aaron will have occasion to regret this.
