I'm okay. Life is moving along, but I can't stand reading the news as of recent. Where are Democratic voices? More still, why aren't we speaking up more publicly? Protesting? Practicing democracy? :mad: So I'm huddled here, hoping to await the passage of this storm, chatting about tree size (meow!), kudzu, and giving hugs to those who need them.

...She was a really great Yankee lady who grew up in the Depression, went thru the War and the Cold War and McCarthyism and everything else...she saw a lot...and just lived to see 911. And she always had a stubborn optimism, which has served me well. Take a deep breath, and hide in the bunker for awhile, if/when you need to. God knows I've done that enough times...but the world is here when you're ready for it--and vice versa...and the fight is eternal. :hug:
