He's sub-Moore.

At least Moore has "The Spy who Loved Me" and "For Your Eyes Only", which rank very highly. What's Brosnan got? Only Goldeneye's teaser, which suggests a gripping taut adventure. (what we did get was a ridiculous farce; a taste of things to come...)

The writing got shitty. Moore should have been an excellent Bond. But too many one-liners made for a stupid clown of a character.
