Is it possible to sleep 13 hours straight?
I wouldn't mind going to bed right now then waking up at 6:30AM.

But chances are I'd wake at 4AM and not be able to get back to sleep.

As for the homo situation,

1. Bi
2. No longer interested in men
3. Look at my desktop: How many gay men would have this up?

19. Sorry, Hypno Toad.
One of the guys fixing my roof used to be a girl. I never would have guessed if he didn't tell me. We'd been having coffee together for a week before he told me. I just can't imagine him as a woman. (I guess I don't have to tell you I'm not too quick about these things).

I've slept for 28 hrs almost consecutively, barring restroom breaks and quick meals.

PS: what do you mean bi and not interested? David Bowie Syndrome?

PSS: Unreal Tournament, Doom, Quake? Man what a loser >:p

Probably David Bowie syndrome. Does it matter to you either way?

Ooh, and I'm a loser! Gee, that's the first time I've been called that. :sarcasm: (BTW: It's PPS, and how come you're so good at recognizing icons?  )

BTW: If you're what you said you were in a different thread, shouldn't you be happy I'm "making amends" or whatever?

21. whaaat
PPS? I just remember all the stinky, childish turds that play online games and then think "Guilty by association!!!" I've played at least one part of each of those games you have in the lower right corner. Including NWN.
Well, are you one of those Counterstrike kiddies? :p

And what are these amends you are talking about? I'm bi myself. I don't like bears though; disgusting.

8. Okay this is what I do
I am a night nurse and when I come off a long stretch of days I usually like to medicate myself into a coma and sleep for 12-13hrs, this is my regimen: 100mg of Benadryl, 9mg of Melatonin, and either 10mg of Ambien or 3mg of Lunesta, top it all off with a screwdriver or vodka gimlet. Let me tell you you will sleep like you have never slept before. You may feel hung over afterward. Now I am not endorsing this, I am a bigger cat so most people only need 50mg of Benadryl but I need 100mg. You could probably just get there with the Benadryl and a drink of the liquor of your choice. Good luck with that.

9. My son slept for 23 hours last week.
But he's on another work schedule, working nights, keeping up with daytime office stuff. He's in a different city every week, only working nights, for nearly 8 weeks, then it's back to usual. He's young, but it's already taking a toll.

Just have someone turn it off after 12 hours and 50 minutes.

22. I did nearly 30+ hours once
I have no explanation for it. I came home from work on a Friday night, long & tough day. I downed some chow and saw a movie at a nearby theatre. Came home and snuggled between the sheets. When I woke up it was Sunday afternoon, I had slept from late Saturday night throught to mid Sunday afternoon. I wasn't sick. Most of the weekend was gone. I have no clue why it happened.

25. Not for me because I have a bladder alarm.
It would wake me at least once before 13 hours passed. I have had times where I took a nap early and then could not sleep at bedtime. The next night I made myself stay up without a nap, but bedtime came and I still couldn't sleep. Except then I didn't even have the advantage of having had a short nap.

28. I know I've slept longer than that...
But I never really kept track of it.

My last job required me to go on call every 3rd weekend. Unfortunately, "on call" at this place meant that from 7 am on Saturday morning until 7 am Monday morning, you resided at the lab. On several occaisons I saw sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, and sunrise with little more than a couple of 10 to 20 minute catnaps. Following this, I would typically sleep for probably close to 16 hours.

I'm SO glad that I got out of there....

All I did was sleep on my day off, I did that for over a year.
