3. You'd have to go slow.
But what a hoot to drive by any park or grade school. How could anyone have road rage in a vehicle that looks like a dog's face?

I looked through all of the pix and there is not one of those I would not like to own. Fun stuff!

4. I'm six feet tall and long in the leg;
(my inseam is about 33-34")...there is NO WAY IN HELL I could drive one of those midget-mobiles without experiencing fierce discomfort. I've had to put the driver's seat all the way to the back in pretty much every car I've ever driven, and about half the time I still don't have enough legroom.

6. It's not for everyone.
I'm hip on legroom issues. But I am enough of a rabid gearhead to find these little thangs fun.

When I started driving my VW Rabbit diesel pickups I had pains in my back and hips because of the upright seating even with the seat all the way back. On the otherhand my 1960 Sunbeam Alpine had plenty of legroom. Who knows what these things are like until you get close to them. Suffice it to say I would not plan a trip to Pheonix in one!

8. My husband's 6'5" and he fits in
a Citroen 2CV (also known as the ugly duck) quite easily. In fact, he fits in that better than in most 'American' cars. I remember looking at a Saturn station wagon that he actually had to open the sun roof to give himself head room...even with the seat all the way back.

5. My dear Opposite Reaction!
How cute those are!

But I think they would not be fun in LA.......

Perhaps they'd work well in an environment where there isn't very much traffic.....

Like one of those Leisure World places.......putt putting around those quiet little streets......

:hi:

7. Maybe a little Oil Of Skunk in the gas would keep the tailgaters away.
I just took a little lunchtime trip through San Fernando and I am inclined to agree with you!
