This is pretty cool if you like Duke Ellington

Many of you know I have a studio and blah blah blah. The other day a friend called me and she said that her boss was looking to transfer reel to reel tapes to CD and wanted to know if I can do it and how much and so on. It seems her parents were friends with Duke Ellington and during parties they would all play music together. They happened to tape some of these parties and that is what she wants transfered.

She wants me to do one for her to give to her mother for Christmas and then possibly transfer the rest. I think it will be cool to hear the Ellington bootlegs..lol.

I have one of Neil Geraldo (Pat Benatar's hubby) that my friend had me transfer. It was from the 70s when they were just jammin' in their basement. The dude was really good even back then.
