Anyone knows what is causing this? I scanned my computer for worms and such, all clean.

1. Spam. Phishing. It's inevitable. |
|
Weird, but inevitable.
Best you can do is to summarily delete those items and don't even click to read them.

3. Yeah, I thought it was something along those lines |
|
I was just afraid my machine was hijacked to spam. But i am sure it isn't now.

2. Probably a glitch in their server... |
|
It's happened to me before- and I'm not even using Windows! Let me guess: a 'could not send' message with the email in question blank?

6. Anyone can send an e-mail with somebody else's sender address. |
|
And when that e-mail can't find its destination, the bounce message goes to the stated sender address, not to whoever actually sent it (which usually can't be determined at all).

7. Yep, that's how my email works, but the bounced email has viruses blocked. |

8. We had that happen when we had Earthlink, they told us |
|
that our mail box had been breached on their end somehow. It's been quite a while now..so I don't remember everything that happened, but I do know we had to reset passwords etc.
