The boat is a 26' sailboat; the outboard is just a little 8.5 hp thing we use to get in and out of the marina. Wind is free; gas is expensive!

37. I went to Puerto Rico last November.

I got to see a real rain forest. It was an absolutely fantastic experience.

And I discovered that resort hotels are horribly isolated and overrated.

However, I found one person at the resort who made it all wonderful. There was this tiny woman in her late fifties working in the hotel spa who had the best, strongest hands I've ever encountered, ever. She worked pain out of me better than any massage therapist or physical therapist I've ever had.

Damn, that woman was good!

Are we talking EZ Bar, cables, supinating dumbells, hammer, barbell...and then am I seated, standing, inclined?

Typical arm day for biceps (I do biceps, triceps and forearms on the same day, 2x per week)

Low cable single arm pulley curls, d-ring, 6 sets starting at 30 lbs (warm up) up through 70 lbs;
Low cable hammer rope curls, 3 sets, starting at 90 lbs up through 150 (entire stack);

On to the free weights

I do a unique Preacher Curl w/the EZ bar utilizing negatives. I like to warm up with 4 10s. Then, I load up 8 10s, do 12 reps, strip 2, do 10, strip 2, do 10, strip 2, do 10...all the way down to just the 15 lb bar where I rep out until I want to cry. Drop-set negative reverse pyramids. I superset run-the-rack hammer curls with barbell negatives. Standard dumbell curls? Maybe 50 lbs standing (with VERY strict form) and maybe 35 lbs, seated.

I hate the bench press too. Can't remember the last time I gave a shit about a free-weight bench. I've done 405 for a few reps, but it was probably sloppy. It's a number, just like the scale. Hammer Strength all the way for me.
