it was a was really Great. The "warm up act" was Huey Lewis and the News" we went late to avoid "Huey" but I was sorry we waited. Huey was INCREDIBLE! Really a professional and even performed with Chicago.

Did any of you see the "Reunion Tour" with Huey and were surprised?

Great Sounds.

And hearing "If You Leave Me Now" left me  "memories pressed between the pages of my mind..." FAVORITES?

It was a wonderful SUMMER NIGHT for NOSTALGIA...

Any "CHICAGO" fans, here? What would be the song that moved you?

2. Sorry, I'm not a big fan of Cetera-less Chicago.
and since he's made it clear that he won't be coming back, I guess I'll never see them.

Glad you had fun though.

3. I was with folks who felt like you about Peter Cetera...but the guy who

replaced him (sorry, I forgot his name) was incredibly good to "my ear."

But one person in my group was a "horn player" and his only regret was that the "horns" (trumpet and fluglehorn) didn't get enough play in the "Reunion Tour."

I loved it though...and so did most of us "gals."

6. for me, Huey would have been the draw
but I think I saw Chicago on Ellen. They did a couple songs. I can't remember very many of their songs. "Alive Again" was one of my favorites. Good to hear that the Heart of Rock and Roll is still beating.

7. Old fart fan, from Chicago I...to XXX
I remember when Chicago I was released -- guess that was elementary school or jr high (now you know I am an old fart). One of my musician pals brought the recording in to music class, played parts on his horn and I was hooked.

Though Chicago's later albums a little too mushy for me, the orchestrations are what I listen for, and I buy the albums.

I did get to see Chicago play with Earth Wind and Fire. Now that was a really cool show. And there is a DVD of the live concert (yes, I got that too). When you see it, you want to think, now these two bands should have been doing this joint concert thang decades ago.

8. How can it be a reunion tour if they never broke up?
From Wikipedia (a dubious source, I know, but the entry is VERY accurate):

"Despite the personnel changes over the years, the group still keeps active more than three-and-a-half decades after its founding. They are one of the few major rock groups that has never broken up or even taken an extended hiatus, although with original frontmen Kath and Cetera long gone, the group sometimes seems like an ensemble calling itself Chicago (this problem is encountered by many aging rock groups and is not unique to Chicago). Nevertheless, four of the six founding members (major songwriters Lamm and Pankow, plus Loughnane and Parazaider) remain to this day providing continuity, while Bill Champlin has put in over 25 years with the band, Jason Scheff over 20, Tris Imboden with 15 and Keith Howland having 11."

9. Have been a Chicago fan since they made it big in the '60s.
My favorites are Saturday in the Park, Make Me Smile, Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is, 25 or 6 to 4, Baby, What a Big Surprise and Feeling Stronger Every Day.

10. I'd be tempted to go to a Chicago concert...
just to see drummer Tris Imboden. This guy is one of the most tasteful and versatile drummers out there.
