4. Fortunately not.
It's a 'friend of a friend' story I heard from a colleague at my last job. The very thought still makes me cringe, though. Can you imagine? You'd have to kill yourself; there's simply no other solution.

6. Nah, it's a small world.
Most industries are so close-knit that a story like that would get around very quickly. You could probably leave society behind completely, become a hermit on a remote Tibetan mountaintop and the first person to pass by in 20 years would stop and say, "Hey, aren't you that schmuck that..."

Nope, a quick death is the only sane answer. At least you might get reincarnated as someone less unlucky.

8. That could work too...
...but you'd have to kill everyone who saw it too, as well as anyone they might have emailed or told about it. And the websites where this kind of stuff gets posted for the general amusement of the populace. Depending on how long the profile was posted before the victim noticed, we could be talking about having to start an all-out nuclear war, just to be on the safe side. :)
