Poll question: So why doesn't life begin at conception?
Why is there no 'Conception Day' - why has nobody conceived this?

And more amusingly. have you fathomed when yours might have been? (Halloween here!)

If I count nine months back from my birthday, it'd be February 16th. I don't know if that's accurate, though.

18. I was conceived on my brother's 1st birthday...which always
kind of grossed me out for some reason. Really, the whole idea of one's parents "conceiving" grosses me out. I'm immature that way. :D

It is amazing the number of my friends who have birthdays in the first couple of weeks of April. I wonder what their parents were doing to celebrate American Independence. :)

July 18.

You will have no idea why, and I am not saying, but in this particular instance, I can't believe my freaking eyes.

I'm leaving, and I am not coming back today.

29. I know when my conception day was.
I used that little conception-wheel do-hickey at work that the doctor uses to calculate how far along an OB patient is. My conception day was the day before my father left for Vietnam. :-) Yep, no surprises there. :-)

34. What about premies or late babies?
The religion in which I was raised (I call myself a Jewish agnostic) states that life begins at birth. The bible says nothing about abortion. The Catholic Church allowed abortion until 1869, and when it was considered a sin, it was because of sexuality, not the taking of a life. In many cases, it has been 40 days for a male and 80 for a female or 40 days for either.

or is that zygote or blastocyst or something?

Think of all those disappointed trick-or-treaters in 1963 in Harrisburg, Pa! Maybe there's some lingering bad karma from that.
