Runny nose, sore throat, coughing and headaches...

yeah it's that time of year again... the cold...

It's running around here pretty bad, my two nieces have it, my mom has it and now I've got it. I am just laying low right now and trying to eat as I have been nauseated as well...

Bleh I hate feeling like this, I called my senators' office as well as Reid's regarding the Torture Bill and I could hardly articulate what I wanted to say but needless to say I did get my message across.

I hate colds.

I just want some chicken noodle soup and some orange juice. I can barely eat as it is and those just sound so good to me right now.

6. It is really simple. And you can increase the amount or decrease

depending on how many it is for. For my family of four I use 8 cups of water, 8 bouillon cubes, 4 chicken breasts cut up, 4 carrots sliced, one onion chopped, 2 sticks of celery chopped, 1 tsp of tarragon (it's good without it if you don't have any, 1 1/2 cup longrain rice, one egg, 1/4-1/2 (we like the lemony taste so we use 1/2) cup lemon juice.

Boil the water and bouillon, add chicken, carrots, onion and celery. Return to boil, lower heat and simmer until chicken cooked through (about 20 minutes). Add tarragon and rice and cook addition 10 minutes, blend egg and lemon juice. Slowly pour egg/lemon juice mix into soup while stirring with a fork...keep stirring until "ribbons" (created by egg white) form. Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy! :hi: Sometimes I will add garlic or basil to change up the taste.

5. I had a nasty bug for about 5 days

Some miserable stomach flu - aches, pains, fever, nasty tummy. I'm just now starting to feel better.

Yeah it does suck, at least I am getting it off easy, no fibromyalgia fever pains, at least not now, but just a really runny nose. And some coughing. I get some nausea at times as well.
