Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their
days interesting.
Well, for example, the other day I went downtown and went into a shop.
I was only in there for about 5 minutes and when I came out there was a
cop writing out a parking ticket.

I went up to him and said, "Come on, man, how about giving a senior
citizen a break?

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a "Nazi
turd." He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having
worn tires.

So I called him a "shithead." He finished the second ticket and put it
on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third
ticket.

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more
tickets he wrote. Personally, I didn't care. I came downtown on the bus
and the car that he was putting the tickets on had a bumper sticker that
said "Jeb Bush in '08." I try to have a little fun each day now that
I'm retired. It is important at our age.

Just because you didn't like someone's stupid bumpersticker, you have now cost him/her a lot of money or, loss of income because they will have to go to court to fight those tickets. How do you know that the person isn't a senior citizen on a fixed budget...and you've just ruined it. That's the most arrogant, self important thing I've ever heard...and it was done to a total stranger who's only offense is a fucking bumper sticker? Jesus christ! WTF is wrong with you? Have we gotten so partisan that we go out of our way to make life miserable for those we disagree with? Isn't that how wars start?
Sorry, that was a cruel and immature thing to do. As a senior citizen, you should be ashamed of yourself, and so should your cheerleaders. Liberals aren't supposed to behave this way. We are supposed to be above that kind of petty bullshit. I'm embarrassed to see that apparently at times, we aren't any better than the freepers.
