I was a bad boy tonight and downloaded Beck's new album "The Information".

It's stunning. Sensational. Beautiful. Listen on high quality headphones worthy. I've had chills run up my spine about a dozen times. It's so deep and rich, and insane.

If you loved Mutations you're in for a treat.

I'm going to buy it twice on October 3rd.

1. I love the concept behind the album art.

"Each copy will come in a blank package with one of four collectible sticker sheets specially designed by European and American artists and representative of the unique Beck aesthetic."

2. Beck is just TOO...umm..."eclectic" might be the word...

for me. I can't put my finger on it, but nothing about his personal style or his music has ever caught on with me.

The Scientology thing doesn't help either.
