Opinions needed please!

My kids are getting bigger and eventually I am going to have to go back to work full time. I am seriously thinking of going back to school. Maybe to become a teacher. The question up for debate is if I invest the time and $$(possibly having to take out loans) wil someone hire me? I do have a 2 year degree so I won't have to start from scratch, but because I have kids I can't go to school full time. So the bottom line is that I may be 45 before I am finished with school. Will any school district hire a 45 year old first time teacher? :shrug:
