What the hell happened to the old Dr. who from last year?
Did he get canned?
I sorta like this guy better and the story was pretty good.

He left the show because he was afraid of getting typecast.

IMHO Eccleson (the guy from last year) was excellent, and the current one just seems to be missing something in comparison.

But to each their own.

2. thanks, the story was fairly good
It was like watching the new Darren on Bewitched, I was confused. I just got used to the new Dr. who and now I have the new, new Dr. Who.

I think they kept the majority of their production crew and writers.

4. If You Watched The Original Dr Who, You'll Get Used To It!
I tried to watch the new one, but argh. Dr Who is *2* hours long, has good writing and crummy special effects, not bad writing and excellent fx.
