I recently search for an old thread on DU and came across one of the threads discussing celebrity Republicans. My aunt was nearby and I called out some of the names of who was on the list. She immediately said, "I've never liked any of them anyhow." I said, "Well, maybe we sensed they were right wing." She said, "Maybe, instead of Gay Dar in this case, we can call it Repugli-Dar."

I thought about that for a second. What a stroke of genius. Many of us do not like many of the right wing actors and musicians anyhow.

That reminds me of the question I wanted to ask. If you know of a celebrity who is right wing, did you like them before you found out they were right wing or did you instinctively know they weren't your cup of tea anyhow?

1. I never know about actors

I only find out through word of mouth. It's hard to let go, but I do eventually just stop liking them and their work. Pre-2000 was one thing but with over 100k innocents dead in this fake war and after 9/11 and Katrina being a repuke is just unforgivable

2. That is so true. If one of those factors was all there were,

it would still be very bad, but with all of those factors combined, it's an atrocity.
