Ok, I haven't posted a thread in a looooooooong time, and the last time I did it was probably an unhappy one.
Today is the 5th anniversary of my beloved Marie's passing. Up until two years ago, I was in pretty much the same state as I was when Marie passed on.
In 2004, I met this incredible woman Heide (not HeidI, she's German!) with three wonderful/UGH children (James 17, Mike 15, Melanie
that I love as much as they were mine (the kids, I already have Heide's heart, and she mine). I went from being a widower with (Marie's) three cats to (at last count): 6 cats, 2 dogs (BTW, I HATE dogs, but they haven't figured it out), 2 birds (Gonzo and Camilla), a rabbit (Harvey), a bearded dragon (Godzilla), two gerbils (Hans and Gretal) and 13 fish (the largest one, a bottom feeder named Jaws loves playing in the bubbles). Oh, and turtle named Arthur - who would have been my last chance at a "normal" pet, except I found him floating head up - I found out he was sleeping, never disturb a sleeping turtle!
Anyways, as depressing as this board has been, I thought I'd post a link that I found on youtube - George Harrison / Ringo Star / et al playing an incredibly uplifting song that kept me going when things were darkest.
