I have a confession to make.
I really want to see "The Marine."

Big explosions, gunfights, martial arts scenes.

I feel like I shouldn't want to see it, but damn. I really enjoy random acts of violence in movies.

1. I sort of want to see "Jarhead" on video
But that's because Jake Gyllenhaal is in it.

4. I thought Jarhead

was awful. I could barely watch it...and I love Jake Gyllenhall...and I usually like war movies...

5. War movie fans don't seem to like it.
My roommate is a war movie fan and he hated it too. I'm not a big war movie fan at all, but quite enjoyed it.

7. perhaps because
it wasn't much of a war movie...simply showed the worst side of American soldiers in every way. Showed Americans showing their ass. A close friend of mine whose husband is in Iraq, hated it and would not even watch the whole thing...she hates the war too.

3. I just saw the 3 burials of H*** m***
Tommy Lee jones, very moving ending, really moving, when the republican realized
that TLJ was his superior in every way, and that it was right. The world turned
right side up for a second, worth a tear in heaven.

6. Great movie, indeed (but why "H*** m***"?)
The scenes with the old blind guy were pretty rough, and I liked the ambiguous ending...

8. the confession
The film was about the confession of the republican immigration agent.

He was the protagonist, the character who was made to confess for murdering an innocent...
by a man who was sent by his dead friend to extract a confession. Then he was free.

Anglo Americana has some confessin' ta dooo, a bit still, just a bit.... ;-) ok, more than a bit, and we're
all just cheekey monopolist racist white methodist elitists who won't employ others, except to fight our wars,
and then what has it come to, what were all the swimming pools worth. What did Hogans Heroes die for?

9. John Cena is a horrible wrestler.
He looks like an even worse actor.

No thanks.
