1. We're only 28th?? Lions would lose to all.
After last week's balanced attack (53 yards rushing, 53 passing), how can you doubt the Lions? Right now, they would lose to all of them, and the Little Sisters of Mercy, as well, by at least two touchdowns. You are a well respected prognosticator, but you have this one wrong. Save us some pride, after 47 years and one playoff win. At least, acknowledge we are the worst.
I hope, after the season is over, you will do a last 40 years overall power ratings. And I hope that then, you will see the Truth. (Apologies to Cardinals and Saints fans).

3. While the Lions have longevity on thier side...
THIS year the Chargers are most pathetic.
And given the Chargers ownership (Alex Spanos spends more on donations to Republican city councilmen than he does on players; and makes more money doing it) I don't see any change in the future.

7. Lions got pounded by the Chargers, a couple of weeks ago
It wasn't even close. You need to rethink. As for the owners, they are all rich and disgusting. Right now, the Lions are the worst, and they proved it against the Chargers. Check it out.

8. Not all owners are bad...
Green Bay's owners are cool...

Comparing Chargers and Lions...
Chargers get
6 points for 3 wins
4 points for beating Cleveland
9 points for beating Minnesota (who beat the Lions twice)
4 points for beating Detroit.
23 total points.

Lions get
8 points for 4 wins
3 points for beating Arizona
4 points for beating Oakland (who beat the Chargers twice)
7 points for beating Chicago (who also beat the Chargers)
9 points for beating Green Bay (who beat the Chargers)
31 total points

Also, one more Charger loss will clinch them the first round draft pick as worst team.
This year, the Chargers are the worst. Although I will give the Lions worst team of the past 50 years, if you insist.

9. "Green Bay's owners are cool"
Why thank you, kind sir! I happen to own one share of Packer stock, so I'll assume that remark was directed at me. :-)

11. It was
And the other owners, the fans who OWN thier own team. How I wish that more communities owned the teams associated with thier city's names.

10. Thank You!
Geez, tough to get a compliment for the Silver and Blue around here. The Lions are the worst of the past 50 (at least 47) years. Despite the points (and you do a great job, HawkerHurricane), right now, I don't think the Lions could beat anybody, anywhere. But, that's just foolish emotional attachment, and a history of following them since I was 11, in 1962, I guess. Who do you think they could beat, right now? And would you put $$$ on that prediction?

12. The problem is settling that bet...
Given that the only team left in the season for the (admittedly) hapless Lions are the streaking St. Louis Rams. If the Lions played outdoors they'd have a chance, as it is the 'Greatest Show on Turf' is coming to town...
Meanwhile, the Chargers get to face the Raiders in Oakland, which will lead to a Raider victory when the Chargers choke faster than the Silver and Black can.
The Cardinals get the Vikings when the Vikes are trying to clinch a playoff spot.
Lots of pity to go around, this time of year.

2. Hawker, I love this!!
Best one I've seen. :yourock:

I think Green Bay is going deeper into the playoffs than people think. I think Philly if it doesn't lose it's first game could streak in there.

4. The point differential for my patriots shows it all
Remember a few weeks back when you were questioning your ranking system when the pats knocked the chiefs out of the top spot? Looks like your system is pretty accurate after all!

6. Looks like...
Yep, I remember, and the Pats have proven me right.

Now, the true test starts in two weeks: how these teams perform in the playoffs!

14. I guess I'm just not popular any more...
Not as many questions about who's leading who, and the activity level drops.
