Name a radio station's call letters that sound suspicious
WYTE = Whitey. (A racist radio station, perhaps?)
KQRS = Queers. (from here there are many goofy inferences...)

So, what radio stations do you know of whose letters can be subverted into something naughty?

I mean, how can a local radio station have the call letters of national public radio?

Fun, fun, fun -- in the middle of the night when your audience is half asleep.

KILR = radio for murderers and other sociopaths
KUNT = radio for women (ouch, sorry) (University of North Texas doesn't have these call letters for their radio station, do they?)

Or as we refer to it: "K-prick." Pretty apt description, considering all the knuckle-dragging rightwing talkers they have at the place.....

31. Cool. Back in 1968 XERB was THE happening station...
it's blow torch signal reached Northern California, and the 'SHOW' - Wolfman Jack started at 11PM.

We even started a spoof fan club back then called The Wolfman Jack Electric Fan Club! I was hooked

I was tickled when he appeared in American Graffiti years later, and can only suspect George Lucas was listening to XERB over in Modesto at the same time I was.

32. I 'found' him in 1970 or '71
He came on at 10 then, right after Reverend Ike. I taped some of the phone calls; I still remember him asking a girl who sounded about 12 if she was naked, and convincing her she should be when she said she wasn't.

"So why don'cha get naked and then call me back?"

"Okay!"

And, no... I was NOT playing with my boogaloo!

34. I used to catch the end of his show
waiting for Wolfman Jack to come on. I swear to you, one night one of his flock who'd been "healed" said something like, "I didn't even have any kneecaps, and whenever we went to the dump, my sons had to carry me from the car."
