George Bush's main problem is he comes from money. He knows that no matter how badly he fucks up, he'll still have a roof over his head, food on his family and transportation. So he doesn't have to try real hard at anything.

George Smith would know that his ass would be living in a cardboard box if he tried any of the shit George Bush so easily gets away with. And he does have a certain animal cunning to him; if he was absolutely brainless not even the BFEE would have anything to do with him. Let's put it this way: He's smart enough not to blow the lid off the BFEE.

If George Bush was George Smith, he'd be the DH of the paint department at a Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse in Austin. He'd have six people working for him and his major worries would revolve around Thalo Blue colorant and the price of mineral spirits. He couldn't be a drunk the way he is. He couldn't have gone AWOL for a year without getting his little white ass sent to the infantry, and he couldn't have run three Texas oil companies into the ground. No, he'd be selling paint during the day and participating in a Wednesday-night bowling league.
