Wel, I think this is a kind of crisis averted.
I remeber to check my husband's pants pockets before laundering them --and pulled out a teabag. I think that would've been a problem.

Have any of you ever washed/spared from the wash something that would not have been pretty?

3. Oh, wow--I guess that was bad.
I usually remember to check my husband's pockets because I once washed his whole wallet. And my husband is one of those "his whole life is in his wallet" guys. Luckily, everything survived--that is one good leather wallet, it looked fine and, uh, smelled clean--when I took it out.

I also had my heart stop a little when I heard a fearsome racket in my dryer, and pulled out a cigar lighter.

I've tried to inform my spouse "The machine operator is not responsible for property lost or damaged in the laundering process" but the pocket check is still on me. :)

9. A new bag, or used?
And why did he have a teabag in his pocket?

12. A new bag (why would he have
a used one in his pocket :) ?) And, this is just a reconstruction from what I've seen, I think he intended at some point to make tea--probably at work. And then forgot to, because the teabag was in his pocket, which is not where teabags normally are. Which is why I was a little surprised to find it there, myself.
