How many members does Free Republic have?

But I'd venture they don't have many more active members than DU.

I've been banned from there 3 times. They even ban conservatives there. Anyone who isn't a complete and total Bush-bot gets banned.

If they have 100,000 that would probably include me. Signing up is no big deal. Putting up with the hate and the deadbrainlessness though as they bash gays and treehuggers and people that know evolution is science and spout stupid s*hit was too much for me. They may have lots of people sign up, but there are not all that many freepers and I do believe that there are employees of the government there to feed them their thoughts and their words.
