I'm going to see Eve Ensler's Good Body tonight!

anyone seen it? Any comments? I think she is amazing.

I've only seen the Vagina Monolouges on DVD (and thought they were great), so I can't wait to see this new play in the theatre.

3. I really enjoyed the VM, but not when she does it.

I've seen the Monologues live and recorded, and its funny and smart and enjoyable. But when she performs it, i don't like it. It's not the Monologues, it's her. Something about her annoys the hell out of me.

And don't you dare talk no shit about Dr. Nancy McNally (the only person in the world who can call John Amos "Admiral Sissy Mary"), who i love and adore.

4. no, my point was that Smith is very cool

and does monologues in a similar vein - the one she did about the LA Riots was astounding. Of course, she is a playwright and actress, and I really don't know much about Ensler's background. I was curious if it was just Ensler, or the style of the monologues. Ah, just playin' devil's advocate.

And i had absolutely no idea that ADS was so accomplished. a MacArthur Genius Grant for cryin' out loud? now i love her even more.
