I received the two gifts that I desired the most this year, materialistically speaking that is.

My beautiful wife gave be a new acoustic guitar. I've been playing for quite some time but have never really had a nice acoustic.

But I have one now.

Oh, and my son gave me a Donovan McNabb home jersey. It's really cool looking. I can't wait to put it on later.

6. what kinda guitar?

i play myself, and work at a music store, i find these kinda things probably more interesting than they should be, but oh well. ive got my Guild F-45 CE (acoustic) on my lap now, and my strat standing in its stand nearby. sounds fun.

8. A thin-line Yamaha acoustic/electric, with a nicely done cutaway.

I really wanted an acoustic I could plug in with a cutaway.

I can't believe how full sounding it is for being a thin-line. And when I plug it in, it's even richer.

It's a tobaccoburst APX-3.

She even got me the hardcase that goes with it, so I'm all set.
